Are these made in USA?

Answer:

They are made in China. That information is on the box with enclosed glove.

Question Two:

Hi, i purchased this glove and as per the description it has steel wire. It does not stick to magnet? Please confirm or i will have return this.

Answer:

Most stainless steel won’t be magnetic (onlythe 400 series alloys are magnetic). It the chromium content (around 10%) that inhibits magnetism. It’s not that it doesn’t content Fe (which is around 78%), as the “metallurgist” commented.

What's the white glove for comfort?

Yes. Without it the steel stitching is painful.

I believe the site you are on, you are ordering a single glove. You are able to order a pair of these gloves but you need to search for them from other available options. If you read the text it is clear that this site is ONE glove only.

NO glove will stop all cuts if you really come at it hot and heavy but these are the most resistant I've seen of the cheap non-pro type. I got this for a razor sharp mandolin which relieved me of the tip of my little finger even though I was using another glove and the gripping tool which never seems to work properly as you get down to the last slice or two. The glove easily stopped all motion at the blade and I think in this type application it is always going to protect a user adequately. No way it could stop a sharp serrated monster being wielded with significant force. Impossible to clean completely so I just boil fingers then store it in a sub-zero freezer between uses. From now on all my reviews will list the country of manufacture - China on this one.--Size: XX-Large

I use it to cut fruits, vegetables, meats ,cheese, bread and everything else in the kitchen. I wished it came with more cotton gloves to use underneath, not just one, because the steel glove you can wash in the dish wash machine and the cotton one you have to wait to have a load to wash and dry it. The steel one you have to hang dry. So I suggest you buy at least a couple of them, because they don’t come in pairs. But they’re excellent, it’s worth, specially if you’re not too careful or have shaky hands. I recently cut one of the tendons of my left index finger, in the kitchen, because I didn’t have them yet. I suggest everyone should go for it!!!--Size: Small
