    Q&A 

    Question One:

    The pictures dont show the actual ironing surface or state that teflon is on the product....what is the ironing surface made of?

    Answer:

    Information listed says the shoe itself is made of aluminum. I can only assume the coating on the ironing surface is teflon, though you are correct that it isn't specified. But it works as well as any other teflon iron shoe I've used, and I've not heard of one made with anything else.

    Customer product evaluation

    I keep this Teflon ironing shoe on my iron at all times. I do professional alterations and can iron any fabric on "high" without damaging even the most delicate material. This is a replacement for a BoNash shoe that I used for about 10 years, and finally wore it, so am glad to find this replacement that works just as well. 

    I recently purchased a new iron. I bought this cover to enable me to iron with ease. I purchased an iron "boot" many years ago. I have been completely sold on it. It allows my to iron delicate items like silk scarves without ANY fear of scorching. I am able to iron my garments at a hotter temp, but again, without fear of scorching.
