Question One:

How do you assemble these?

Answer:

I watched the video at the bottom of the listing. It is very easy unscrew the tip on the blank pen holder, remove the tip on the ink refill. Slide it into the pen, screw thevtio back on. Keep the refills in a sealed plastic bag. They work great on most fabric. Test on a sample first as noted.

Question Two:

I got the pen together but i cant get the pen tip to come down through when i put the silver end on. what do i do to really make this work properly?

Answer:

On the pen tip is a small plastic cap. You need to remove first. Then feed the pen up through the holder. Last the Silver cap screws on. While not using you can replace the small plastic cap to protect the point. Hope this was helpful.

These pens rock! No more stupid tailors chalk, saved bits of soap, useless fabric marking pencils that barely show, washable crayons that lose their point leaving less than exact mark placement, transfer paper and wheel which you need to have a lamp as powerful as our sun to see… I’m done with all that. I only wish we could order refills in just the color we need most, which for me is white. I’m marking all my dark fabrics which I’m currently using (I sew apparel) with the white pen and it works brilliantly! I’m even marking the different pieces (like “A -Front, B Back, under collar, etc) so I never mistake wrong side for right side or front skirt piece from back piece. These pens are making my life as a sewist much easier and more enjoyable. Also I can sketch designs on muslin for hand embroidery (why I bought these pens in the first place.) Try these, you will never go back to your previous mark making tools again! 

1、take cap off back of pen. (scissors work great, slide blade part of scissors under outside edge of cap and wiggle it off).

2、take cap off tip of pen. (save cap)

3、Insert refill in pen.

4、screw pen tip on bottom of pen.

5、take saved tip from refill. put mushroomed head in pen cap and replace it, the pen tip should not allow air into pen and dry put the refill.

6、put pen lid on.
